From Opera to Optimal Health

Fredrik de Jounge is an opera singer from Skärplinge, a small village outside Uppsala, Sweden. He studied voice at the Royal Academy of Music and Opera College in Stockholm and made his operatic debut in 1983. Since then he has appeared on stages around Europe, including the Salzburger Festival, Savonlinna Opera Festival, Royal Opera Stockholm,

Finland's national opera, Helsinki, and several others opera stages around the world.

With his enchanting voice and captivating performances, Fredrik was celebrated  in the opera world. Night after night, he mesmerized audiences with his powerful renditions and breathtaking stage presence. However, fate had a different plan in store for Fredrik. On a fateful evening, April 27, 2017, during a mesmerizing performance of "Phantom of the Opera" at the prestigious Cirkus Theater in Stockholm, tragedy struck. Just after the first entrance, Fredrik suffered a stroke that brought the performance to a sudden halt for him. 

Following his stroke, Fredrik faced a long and challenging road to recovery. Though his voice remained affected, his spirit refused to be dampened. His determination to regain his former voice, the stage once again burned fiercely within him. April 2018 arrived, marking a significant milestone in Fredrik's journey.
